Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund

Hurricane Harvey has dropped record-breaking volumes of rain on communities in Houston, San Antonio, Galveston, Corpus Christi, and other parts of southeastern Texas. Catastrophic flooding, evacuations, and damage have affected hundreds of thousands of people, and there have been dozens of fatalities. The Jewish community has also been hit hard, with at least one synagogue and day school being completely destroyed. We certainly have a role to play in cleanup and recovery. Our Federation is providing $20,000 for relief efforts, and we have opened up a new Hurricane Harvey Relief Fund for those in our community wishing to help relief, cleanup, and rebuilding efforts across the region.

Our network of local and international partners enables us to respond quickly and effectively. We fund urgently-needed basics like food and medicine, and long-term needs like trauma counseling. 100% of funds raised will be used to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey
